These 120ml of Wood Stain have been mixed with a tiny bit of paint base, mainly dissolved but has some bits in that can be brushed off as you are brushing on the colour.  Or dip your item if it's small enough to fit the jar, then brush gently with a paintbrush.  The letters shows have been brushed with the seconds.
